Two kinds of translated works
- Official translations — produced or authorised by the circle, sold on DLsite as their own product pages. The creator is paid.
- Everything else — unauthorised uploads and fan translations circulating elsewhere. The creator is not paid, and there is no guarantee the text matches the original.
dojinavi only links to the first kind.
Why official editions matter
The doujin economy is small and direct. A circle that sees sales in Traditional Chinese or Thai has a reason to translate the next work into that language. Buying an official edition is the mechanism by which more of them appear.
How to find them
- Filter the store by work language. On a search results page, open the refine panel and tick the work-language box (JPN / ENG / CHI_HANT / THA and 14 others). The URL then carries
options[0]/{code}— that is the filter that actually works. - Translated editions carry their own RJ code. Searching the Japanese title may return the original only, so search the translated title as well.
- Our language hubs list hand-picked official editions: 繁體中文 (/tw/) and ภาษาไทย (/th/).
Availability by language
Coverage varies a lot by language and by category. Traditional Chinese has the deepest catalogue; Thai is smaller but growing. Use the language filter above to see what is available today rather than relying on a fixed number.
A note on machine translation
Some listings are translated with tooling and reviewed by the circle. Quality varies. Sample images and the length of the product description are usually a good signal before buying.
